... Your BS looks WAY too low. You may want to ask for an ACTH stim test (not just a single blood plasma cortisol test). I'll bet with the high renin, your aldosterone WILL come back too low (especially with your dizziness). Sounds like you need to be worked up for possible diabetes, but may be just hypoglycemia, which would be another sign of adrenal insufficiency! Hope you... (6 replies)

... Dear Ukiahvalleymom: You sound like a textbook case of Addison's Disease! The dizziness is refered to as postural hypotension (very common with Addison's). The dark circles can be and probably ARE a sign of dehydration or salt wasting.
