Low cortisol

Low cortisol

I don't want to sound like a downer.. but I'm currently on 15mg of cortef and I've yet to feel good enough to exercise, although my problem that causes my adrenal insufficiency may be something more like heavy metal poisoning(we are soon going to test), but I don't know. ... Hi Jdar and Noevr, I'm sorry you are going through this. A few points to consider. 1. Addison's or cortisol deficiency is not difficult to control; 2. 7.5 mg of hydrocortisone is a tiny dose. I am panhypopituitary so I have to replace all my hormones. I also take florinef. Night is fine for that - I used to do that.
