... Hi Binks, You mentioned being on hydrocortisone for several years. Who has told you your adrenals are still working??? My guess is they are atrophied by now. Are you producing aldosterone? ... Sarah, I don't know the answer to your questions, but if you get a braclet be careful about putting a med on it that could change. You may not always take Prednisone & could put "cortisol" or "steriod" on it instead. Wanda (2 replies)

Funny thing though, when they took me off prednisone completely, my bones FELT in lot worse shape. I never had pain before. I felt better, with less pain when they put me back on the prednisone. ...
