Low cortisol

He is taking 15mg of cortef. 10 in the am and 5mg around 3 each day. The Adrenal vitamin type pills he's taken i think are by Dr. Wilson. 3 different bottles. ... (12 replies)

... Addison's Disease is pretty much adrenal sufficiency. Your adrenal glands do not produce enough cortisone for your body, and it is very manageable once you take control of it. In a normal person your cortisol level is 250, and in an adrenalin rush it goes up to 500. ... (1 replies)
