I reconize those symptoms all to well. I have allergies and vaso motor rhinitis (my sinuses close off because of certain smells or vapors and I get frequent severe sinus infections). This sound like a sinus infection. Here's a little advice from my allergist that works wonders.

-You'll need to but an ear wax remover syringe, (the little blue thing that you squeeze water into your ear with). The saline mix consists of baking soda, salt, and water.

-You take 1/4 cup of hot water and disolve 2 teaspoons of salt and a pinch of baking soda in it then add 1-3/4 cups of cold water to it.

-Fill the syringe with the water, put your head upsidedown over the sink and gently swich the solution by squeezing and releasing the syringe a couple of times.

-Then after you've repeated the process twice in each nostril, with your head still upsidedown, squeeze the syringe as hard as you can so that the water comes out your other nostril.

It sound gross, but it really helps, trust me! You'll flush out your sinuses and releive a lot of pressure and if it's an intection, help heal your sinuses. Hope this is helpful.
