the dizziness is cause by swelling in the Ethmoid sinus region. I get it when my allergies really get out of control.

You need to get on an irrigation routine, but before you irrigate (preferably with a machine), use an oral decongestant to clear things up a bit. This will allow penetration into the sinuses.

antibiotics won't help. They are pretty much useless for sinus infections (unless you use nebulized antibiotics, or in extreme cases, IV).

For the dizziness, try Chlor-Tremiton 4 hour tablets.

Use hot packs over the eyes. Go out for a run to open things up.

I'm going through the same thing right now. My allergies cause my sinuses to block, and then I develop bacteria, sore throat, etc. I irrigate like crazy, stay away from alcohol and tobacco, and usually I can clear the infection within 10-14 days. The one I've been fighting recently has been hanging on -but I can function.

Sinusitis is an allergy problem, not an infection problem. You need to treat the sinuses directly through irrigation and medication.
