Thank you for the replies. I do feel like sometimes the irrigation helps and sometimes not so much. This morning when I used my neilmed I ended up with ear pressure that lasted all day. This has happened only a couple of times, but it scares me all the same. I do know that neilmed doesn't recommend rinsing with blocked ears, but my ears are not blocked, not are my nasal passages, mostly thanks to prednisone, Zyrtec, and Flonase. I didn't feel the rinse go anywhere near my ears so I'm completely uncertain as to the cause of this sensation. I did leave work early and go to my urgent care and they told me it was an allergy attack and that my turbinates (darn things) were swollen and putting pressure back onto my ears. Ears looked great and fluid free. I was mostly concerned that I had gotten some fluid trapped in there from the neilmed. I guess not. This is the first time in a long while my ears have had all day weirdness after using the rinse, ironically the day after I made this thread to post about my issues with sinus rinses!
