... Has anyone noted any correlation between antihistamines and depression? I have been on antihistamines forever (it seems)--mostly Allegra, but also Zyrtec and Claritin. For about a week I was able to go WITHOUT (any) and felt emotionally better, nearly instantly. Now, looking on the net, I see that there is some correlation. Has anyone else notieced this? ... es they just kept treating me for that until I wore them down! The only allergy med that has worked consistantly for me is Allegra D which you can get otc now. Claritin and Zyrtec do nothing for me. Allergy shots take a few months for you to notice a real difference. I did them for many years and they helped a lot. ... (51 replies)
