... I would have to say yes. My allergies started with 1shrimp and a California roll.The sea weed. Now I have over 60 things I cannot eat or put on my skin. But I used sea salt, after the 1 st. bite my face started to burn and my throat swelled up. i think anything from the sea has large amounts of iodine.:) (4 replies)

... Have you tried irrigation? I had great success using a Neti Pot. I bought it at the health food store. I use bottled water (distilled water seemed to be an iratant) and sea salt. The trick is to heat the water to body temp, about 45 seconds in the microwave in a glass measurung cup, then add the sea salt, about 1/4 tsp. Don't forget to do the clearing exercizes they tell...
