... Well, if you have a deviated septum all the allergy testing and meds in the world won't help that condition. We all have some sinus drainage and a deviated septum just makes it harder to deal with. Are the splints inside the nose or on the outside? ... (3 replies)

Are you having a plastic surgeon do it? They might use them. I didn't with mine and have a friend who had hers done this past week and she didn't. I was and have been completely happy with mine. ... I had the splints (from endoscopic sinus surgery) taken out of my nose yesterday. He also cleaned out my sinuses and I felt cleared out for a few hours. But, after that I began to feel stuffy again, and today it has been the same way. I can breathe through my nose, but I still feel stuffy and I am still having some drainage.
