... Steroid nasal sprays work best as preventative medicine. It does not work as well when you are all stuffed up. It's like putting "oil on water." If you are all stuffed up, the spray just sits on top of the mucus, and never reaches the nasal tissue. ... (11 replies)

... Try eliminating dairy food for a while. That always helps clear my brain fog. I'm also doing nasal irrigation and that has reduced pressure. (88 replies)

... Sounds to me like a combination of GERD and Sleep Apnea (especially waking up in middle of night 'not being able to breath). ... I'm in the same boat as you. My allergies are god-awful (dogs,trees, most grass, pollen, dust, mold, and others). My mucous just builds and builds and leaves me with chronic sinusitis. However, I will not take antihistamines. They work, but over time I need them more and more, and my body never gets used to the irritants. Xyzal (the new improved zyrtec) works absolute wonders...
