I have excessive drooling, cramping facial muscles and shortness of breath at rest, but no weakness of the muscles. My limbs fall asleep if raised above my head at rest and can tingle if extended. I have been diagnosed with RLS but don't think this is correct. Can somebody put my mind at ease that I do not have early ALS?
Or does anyone think I need to see an ALS Doc?
I think that I would go see an ALS specialist, if for no other reason than to put your mind at ease. What is RLS? Keep us posted with what you find out.
