... us. you could have bfs.. benign fasiculation syndrome. but im not a doc so again you need to go to one asap. but since you're having tingling its most likely not als bc als is motor nerves only not sensory. you also need to get an mri of your spine and possibly a spinal tap. ... (2 replies)

... Sounds like you might have an entrapped ulnar nerve. I can understand your concern with your family history. ALS isn't considered hereditary unless a number of family members has had it, I don't think one puts you at a higher risk. ... (1 replies)
... A few days ago I noticed that my right arm muscle is twitching at the elbow area. It is pretty persistent and and sometimes does not stop UNLESS I keep my arm straight down to my side. Once it is bent, the fasciculation's start up and some are quite strong and steady. They sometimes continue all day but there is no pain involved. I do have a pins and needles and numbing...
