... Actually did not get printout of results. I asked him to forward them to my normal Neurologist m, but really slow. When I had Methodist do them in June had them in a day or two. When I get a copy I will post. The left calf was crackling nonstop so figured lot of spontaneous activity. He said no fibs I remember that. May I ask what brings you to this forum? ... (40 replies)

January my emg showed borderline .. results of emg can you explain why its not als study... shows peroneal motor nerves reponses and f waves are normal . ... (9 replies)

... From everything I've read, it is almost unheard of for fasciculations (twitching) to precede obvious muscle weakness . And the fact that your EMG /NCT tests were normal, this is extremely reassuring. Also, as far as I know, ALS does not present initially with sensory symptoms (numbness, or pins and needles). ... certain I had ALS my neuro did not seem too concerned at all. He said to me that I was standing in front of him with fairly normal reflexes, no muscle atrophy, no weakness etc. and from what I was telling him he was not concerned or thinking of ALS. ... (2 replies)
