He is most definitely suffering from dementia and I have noticed in the past few months that he has a habit of rubbing his face for long periods of time. ... to eat or speak. It really has me scared. if I start crying, it will not do Mom any good at all. So I wil have the perfumed hand lotion right at hand and start rubbing it into her hands, looking down she won't see my convoluted face. I don't want to scare her. ... (24 replies)
