I'm new
Mar 18, 2003
Hello.
Today, my doctor gave me an answer as to why I have been feeling so sick and literally tired for so so long now.. anemia!
I thought I may have chronic fatigue syndrome, and or hypoglycemia. The doctor did a 4 hour glucose tolerance test, and concluded I am slightly hypoglycemic. The other blood work showed "Low Blood" as her words stated.
Does anyone know the meaning of these results that showed to be low?
Ferritin-----7 ug/L
RBC----------3.78
HGB----------114 g/L
HCT----------0.330
MPV----------7.1 fL

Has anyone had these symptoms? dizziness, foggy spacy feeling in the head, uneasiness while walking as if you may fall over at any time and unsure of your step? hard to concentrate and use proper words and phrases in conversation, tingling fingers, cold hands and freezing feet, weakness and lack of motivation, startle easily, and a drunken feeling at times...
yes these have been my symptoms for years, on and off, and I'm not that old,,,
What a relief to get a diagnosis today,, I thought I was going crazy, and was starting to feel very anxious about being able to perform at work as a returning hairstylist,, i have cut my fingers many times already because of fatigue, etc,,
Anyways, thanks for listening,, hope to hear from others,,
