Please help!
Nov 13, 2006
Hi, everyone. Earlier today, I had an amemia attack. I was sitting in class, when all of a sudden everything became a swirl, and I became extremely dizzy. I thought I was going to pass out. Then I looked at my hands. They were extremely cold, and turning bluish/purple. By reflex, I started panicking, because I had NEVER had blue/purple hands before. Can this mean that my anemia is getting worse? Or is it something else entirely. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks! I'm just really nervous, and I almost couldn't get home from school today because of it. What do blue/purple hands generally mean? Could it be severe enough to relate to death?

It isn't severe enough to relate to death hun.

Blue and purple hands I get all the time. It's due to circulation in your hands. I would speak to your Dr about this incase it is related to your Anemia or a B12 problem.
