First off, even on synthetic thyroid hormone, I believe the TSH is still important. I have been on it since 1995 and, while we do look at the other numbers, the TSH does give a good reflection of hour your body is responding to the thyroid hormone based on how the pituitary is working. So I would not discount your TSH number.

For B12, you really should be taking sublingual liquid B12. It comes with a dropper that gives you about 1000 mg per dropperful. This is absorbled through the mouth and does not get destroyed in the stomach like most B12 supplements do. I get mine at Whole Foods, although I'm sure other places sell it. You want to look for the word "sublingual". I have read studies where taking this form is just as effective as B12 shots and many doctors are backing off the shots in favor of this.

The best iron supplement out there is the one YOU can tolerate. It's different for everyone.
