I am always tired and have little energy. I found out recently I am low on Folic Acid. Not long ago I was also low on iron. I was told to take a prenatal vitamin daily.

How long after starting the prenatal vitamins should I start having more energy?

How much folic acid should I be taking?

What is the connection to Vitamin B?

How do I find out why I am not absorbing folic acid and or iron?

Thanks

This is different for everyone because we all have something different going on that equals the same outcome many times. Depends on how much healing you have to do cell wise and everything associated. I didn't k=notice a difference with prenatals and iron supplements until my ferritin reached a 20 then I slowly began to feel better. This your own body will have to answer.

How much folic acid should I be taking?

That would be up to your doctor

What is the connection to Vitamin B?

B9 folic acid is a b vitamin and I think they all work together.

How do I find out why I am not absorbing folic acid and or iron?

I would see a GI doc and be tested for autoimmune related absorption issues. FLFLOWERGIRL:)
