Re: New results

shirley--That is wonderful news! Didn't you have a recent surgery too?

We are told that 200 is normal (low end) for the B-12, I can tell you that people with a B-12 deficiency get their numbers to the high end before they feel better. My B-12 has always tested out in the 900's or just a little under. I even supplement B-12 on top of these numbers, it can't hurt you. I do a B-complex that gives me lots of energy especially when I can't get going, it seems to help me. It also helps in rebuilding of RBC's. B vitamins also assist in the absorption of iron. I would shoot for higher numbers no matter what you are told. I am not a doctor just an informed patient.

If you did have a recent surgery for the heavy bleeding it takes a little time after but you will soon see even more increase in your ferritin. At least this is what happened to me. Good luck to you and thanks for the update. FLFLOWERGIRL:)
