I am so tired.:o.................It's a combo of thyroid and ferritin I do believe!
I am having testing for Addison's next week, but the doc is sure that I don't have it. I am now having problems with low blood sugar although numbers are "in range," and we all know what that means.

My symptoms now are numb and tingling in hands and feet mostly left sided and sometimes the left side of my face, but that is so much better now. Muscle, joint aches and pains. Fatigue related to exercise. Endo says it's not thyroid and Rheumy says it's nothing that he does (no lymes and all the other bad stuff) and Neuro says it's not B-12 or MS. Are we having fun yet? I will stop there.

I am so pleased with my feritin results, although, they are not up to Audrey-B's high standards yet, she has been at it longer than I have:D. ChristineVA--If you are lurking [B]:D[/B]what do you think?

It's so hard to believe that it has taken almost 2 years to replete the ferritin stores orally. My GI doc can't believe it and says I am having malabsorption due to long term PPI's. He says that's just how depleted I was in iron.

Thats great news Flowergirl you must be very pleased indeed...
I noticed you said you are still having some numbness ect....Your B12 is a uppper level that is great..are you on B12 subs at all?
The methylcobalamin type ?
When you mentioned that you still have lower energy on exertion ....You might like to consider the other active form of B12 that is adenosylcobalamin (also know as dibencozide) used in the mitrochondria for energy if you dont have much of this form it plays havoc with the energy in the cells..some people have trouble converting this type...You can by it in subs too around 3000mcg at 1 per day..The trick with the subs is to suck on them for a s long as possible.........Just a possibility for you.....
