ajpa--You definitely need to go and see your doc to have testing done to rule out anything with your heart. Last year with my anemia I had terrible palps and tachycardia. I had many tests to make sure that it was due to the anemia and thankfully it was. At that time many women here were having palps and wondered if they too should go to see a doctor. I always say yes! At this same time my 26 year old son came home and said that he was having palps and chest pain. I had him get checked out and at the time of the Echo they had to call in a Cardiologist to see what they were looking at, and it was a rare heart tumor. Only 1 in 2 million people have this. The specialist, specialist at the big teaching hospital said he only sees 3 a year that is how rare it is. The palps and chest pain were anxiety from a chest muscle that he had strained. They found the tumor kind of accidentally. We just watch it and there have been no changes. So, this is just one reason I tell people go check it out and you will know for sure. Hopefully, it is a reaction to your meds, but it is good to know. Best of luck and keep us posted. FLFLOWERGIRL:)
