So I'm going back to work, didn't have the courage of the strength to keep fighting with the insurance company and can't afford for my pay to be cut off for even one week, so it looks like I'm going to have to try and make things work. The thing is, I'm confused as to why everyone seems so happy with my lab results. Maybe it's just because compared to where I was it's really good?

Last hemoglobin was almost at 12, although I have had a period since then. Ferritin still sitting at 11. I have had ten 2ml iron injections, two more to go. I just feel like I should be a lot higher than that. I'm still B12 deficient, taking 1000mcg each day and a good multivitamin.

I do take PPI's, I just realized that might be causing a problem, is that true? I just don't know what to do anymore, symptomatically I'm a bit better (a little less pale and tired) but I still get very dizzy, my BP is still very low (90/55 is a good day) and I still get periods until I can have my surgery. I'm assuming the excitement is just because I'm going up and I was so low...but sometimes it's frustrating because I want to be able to function properly and it can be hard feeling like this. Plus, my hair has started to come out in huge clumps...I have thick, curly hair...but I have had others evaluate what comes out in the shower (for example) and they have all said it's excessive. Does that make sense when levels are going up?

Thanks!
