Before entering middle school, I was always a energetic and happy. However, after three years of middle school I am now depressed and constantly tired. I did not know that what was happening to me could be an illness; I simply assumed it had to do with all the extra stress of middle school. My symptoms really do sound like amenia. I always feel mildly out of breath even when not active, and when running or during any type of physical excercise I quickly get worn out.
I thought it might be iron deficiency. I haven't been eating really healthy lately and that could be an issue. However, I discovered that tofu is a good source of iron, and I eat that quite often so I'm really confused right now. I'd like some answers because this is really affecting my social and academic life. Thanks all, and happy new years...
