If you have high B12 in the blood, and low B12 in the red blood cell, with an ever increasing MCV, is there any treatment to "jumpstart" the cells to start utilizing the B12? I know the possibility of not being able to absorb the B12 in the body is not good. Same situation with both iron and folic acid --high in blood, low in red blood cell.

Waiting on a B12 life-cycle test from a hemotaologist, after rising MCV of a point a month for the last five months (from 98 to 103 -- high "normal" is 97.3). Bone marrow bioposy of a year ago did not indicate anything after several years of mild MCV elevation and the symptoms described above. Feet started a bit of tingling and pins and needles the last few days.

We didn't discuss treatment options if this is the scenario after the B12 results come in, so I thought I'd get up to speed.
