I just found out that I am anemic - My red blood count was at 6 which I had to receive 2 units of blood. Which took my red blood count up to 8.9 and started also taking iron slow fe and vitamin C to help absorb the iron. After 13 days it went up to 9.6. I also am getting checked to see why it is so low. So at 9.6 is still consider low. I still feel very tired, sometimes lightheaded at times, and short of breath after going up steps at times, and very unmotivated to do anything. Previously I would go to the gym to exercise, do aerobic or do some type of cardio machine. But I just don't have the energy to exercise. When at the blood level of 6, dr said that I only had 1/2 the oxygen in my body, didn't know how i even could exercise.
I am trying to get back in my exercise routine but just still very tired. Is is ok for me to try to do some type of exercising? Or should I wait until my red blood count is higher and what number should I be at.
