New to this board, but doc is trying to figure out why I'm so tired. We have my thyroid meds at a good level, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Part of a sleep study showed that I have a lot of leg movement at night and low ferritin can contribute to RLS (restless leg syndrome), so I had some tests done. I was wondering what the results mean and if I need to take more iron. Right now I'm taking 25 mg/day. Thanks for any help. Here are the labs:

Iron - Total Iron Binding Capacity
[*]Iron - 43 (40 - 175 ug/dl)
[*]TIBC - 385 (250 - 450 ug/dl)
[*]% Saturation - 11% low (15 - 50%)
[*]UIBC - 342 (110 - 370 ug/dl)

Ferritin - 26 (10 - 232 ng/ml)
