I had the infusions as I was due to have knee surgery. That is now being done in the next 2 wks - but they are worried about my levels. My feritin only went to 89 and less than 2 mnths later I am back to 8.

No have no excessive blood loss, periods last 1 day a month.

I am told my small bowl has damage due to anti-inflatory tablets - I cant take them due to allergies but the specalist I saw wasnt listening.

I have hair loss, weight loss. The GP just says lets do blood tests bi-monthly instead of monthly!.

Starting to get frusttrated here!!

I naver had a problem with my iron/ferritin until I started blood donating 7yrs gao - managed it for 1 1/2yrs and have never had enough iron to do it since.
