Hi Everyone I am happy to have found this forum and I am hoping someone can help me. :)

First of I have not been diagnosed with Anemia but feel I may have it or something else going on. For the 7 or 8 months I have been feeling very weak, fatigue, dizzy, stomach pain, and nauseated at least once a month for 3 or 4 days. At first I could not pin point when this was occurring but then figured out that it was happening during menstrual cycle. All of my symptoms have been progressively been getting worse every month. This time I actually did vomit sorry TMI;) so decided to go to er and see what was going on. they did ultrasound and said all was normal. All my blood work came back ok but they did not test my iron. my rbc was 4.27. not sure what other ones might help you help me

Has anyone had this happen during your cycle? and only during this time? If not anyone know what may be going on with me? Thanks for any help ;)

It happens to me all the time. The best way to tell is to test for it. Iron and ferritin both. It probably also wouldn't hurt to throw some extra iron in your diet around mensus time and please see a gyno. Like the person above me said there are ways to stop and slow the bleeding. If your anemia is caused by heavy cycles your body isn't catching up! See a Dr. :D
