I'm no doctor, but how's your diet? You're not eating a diet full of fast food tacos and quick snacks are you?

How elevated are your TPO antibodies? TPO Abs need to be elevated to confirm Hashimoto's.

Normally hypothyroidism (with your TSH elevated at 7) would cause constipation, not diarrhea. You may have an unrelated digestive problem going on, or there may be more to your thyroid problem than we know.

Ask your doctor what your Free T4 and Free T3 levels are. These are far more important indicators of thyroid function than TSH. Post those numbers here.

Could be diet related. Likely the thyroid but if you don't have Hashimoto's, it could be the iron deficiency anemia causing elevated TSH, as iron deficiency anemia can cause the pituitary to malfunction (this is where your TSH comes from) and of course iron deficiency anemia could be caused by a GI bleed.

Hypothyroidism (elevated TSH) should cause constipation, normally.

Exercise shouldn't cause any of this.

You'll be fine, just follow your doctors' orders and if you don't know what your TPO antibodies are, get that checked along with your FT4 and FT3.

Nutrition is extremely important. Eat a Brazil nut every other day if you're not allergic to them, this helps take some of the load off your thyroid and can lower your TPO antibodies. Everything that you eat should have a medicinal purpose. Stay away from Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage and Brussels Sprouts as these make life more difficult for your thyroid. If you really have Hashimoto's, I'd recommend not taking iodine supplements and stay away from iodized salt. Increase your zinc and selenium intake. Be careful not to take more than 20 or 30mg of zinc a day unless you also take 1 or 2mg of copper (zinc displaces copper).

Stress and poor diet are probably the causes of your problems. Get those under control and keep seeing your doctors. Good luck!
