I think after those results are back, if the numbers don't improve, at that point IV iron will be the next step, and I will consider a hematologist at that point as well. I don't see how you can work under those conditions no matter what your Insurance company says. Have your doctor call them personally. You could have heart probelms if you try to. Be careful. Your ferritin level is your stored iron level the iron kind of your back up iron that means if your ferritin level is low than you body is dipping into your stores to try and keep up. ...
