... It happens to me all the time. The best way to tell is to test for it. Iron and ferritin both. It probably also wouldn't hurt to throw some extra iron in your diet around mensus time and please see a gyno. Like the person above me said there are ways to stop and slow the bleeding. If your anemia is caused by heavy cycles your body isn't catching up! See a Dr. :D (3 replies)
