Venofer Experience
May 22, 2014
... Based on my time reading up on IV iron, it seems like that completely drains a person for maybe a week after the infusion (to the point you feel worse than initially) and then you suddenly perk up. Hoping for great results :) Remember to post them! (18 replies)

... I had my first one on Tuesday with Venofer. I did have reactions, but I got about 3/4 of the bag. They gave me benodryl, tylenol and then steroids. But, I am fine. After effects for me have been tired, joint aches, and slight headache. I will try again on May 8th with Feraheme. Good luck!!!!! (5 replies)

... Thank you, Janet ~ my second Venofertreatment went fine! The IV benadryl zonked me out far more than I expected - they are going to halve it on Monday when I get Treatment #3 as I was not able to drive afterwards. (8 replies)
