... my doctor and had a SMAC done..Everything checked out ok except my Iron level was 3...She prescribed me Ferrance HP..Then in 97 I was in hospital and my Iron and B12 level was low...I took B12 shots for about a week or so while in hosp along with an iron supplement...What is the correlation between B12 and Anemia? ... ... The other thing to remember is that B12 needs folic acid and potassium and the other B vitamins to be in synch to be properly absorbed.
