... your ferritin at 8 is way too low. Before taking any supplements, get yourself to a hematologist. I have a very good one and he keep my levels at least 70. I have not ran into any doctors who will consider anything blow 10 with with hgb below the low end of normal any concern. ... (19 replies)

... Hi, I don't know about the TIBC and AST, but your high ferritin and semi low hematocrit and hemoglobin levels could mean anemia. I'm not a doc though, and I could be wrong, just going off what I've researched about my own anemia in the past. Has your doc not been able to talk to you about your test yet? ... (1 replies)
... r platelets are a little on the high side but I don't think that is of any significance here. Sometimes this just happens. My friend's are always a bit on the low side and always have been and they aren't concerned about it. You aren't drastically out of the normal range. ... (15 replies)
