... els were always normal. You need to find the reason why is your ferritin level low. I have heavy periods and just recently I have found out that this is due to a low progesterone. ... I had the same tests, pelvic ultrasound and an endometrial biopsy. They came back negative and it was deemed safe for me to be on the pill which is helping my periods and correcting the anemia.
