Ferritin levels

... I just had some blood work done to see if there was a reason for my fatigue, headaches, dry, breaking hair, feet and hands tingling and feeling cold all the time. My ferritin came out as 22 which I know is in the normal range. Could this level cause these symptoms? ... (0 replies)
... interesting. the problem with diagnosing magnesium deficiency is that supposedly serum magnesium can be still in the normal range while being symptomatic. I'm not sure how but that's what they say. according to recommendations, in this case if deficiency is still suspected, it's worth trying a bit of magnesium supplementing for a few days and see if it helps. anyway when I had... ... um is not often checked as routinely as potassium and calcium, but a deficiency causes the exact symptoms that you've described. It can be very dangerous for the levels to go low.
