... hello, so on Thursday i went to go and give blood at my local place in the UK- it would have been my 5th donation but i was refused as my haemoglobin test failed. So they did another, more thorough one, which also failed. The said it needed to be 125 (to 180), and mine came back as 108. ... hi everyone, glad i found this forum... I am a 20yo lady and went for a health screen recently and these results came back in my mail box. i did some reading on the net but it seems like my hemoglobin level is still ok... but the MCV is kind of low? there're highs (H) and lows (L) all over in the report and i am not sure what they mean altogether, would appreciate if... ... back in 97. My level was 67 or so. You don't make enough red blood cells and the ones you do are rather strange looking, mishappen however you want to put it. My WBC is very low, like 2.4 to 3.1 which is leukopenia. I don't know if the herniated discs have any correlation but strangely I've had several myself over the years. ... (1 replies)
