Ferritin question

My ferritin was originally 22 but I needed to get it over 70. So I have been taking 3 iron tablets per day, l-lysine and vit c for 5 months. It took me a whole year to get from 8 to 29, then 3 months after that i dropped to 26, then had iron injections and went up to 35 and now i'm at 61 and i've got my eye on 100. ... As i said, mine was incorporated within my Lysine tablet, but i still ended up getting IBS symptoms after taking my iron supplement, so my doc added iron phosphate tablets and they solved my IBS tummy/toilet dramas :D (7 replies)
