... You really should get referred to a heamatologist. They will advise you on the best course of treatment. Iron pills dont work overnight, it can take a few months to get your levels back up, whereas the iv iron gets to work straight away. ... (6 replies)

Iron Dosage!

... I think you may be confusing low iron with low hemaglobin. I immagine it's your Hgl that's a 9.4. I'm sure your iron is very low as well which according to your doctors is what's causing the anemia. ... (7 replies)
