Pernicous anemia

... I have been diagnosed with pernicous anemia(B12 deficiency) and I have numbness in my fingers, but I also have numbness in my upper abdomen. Is this normal? My doctor can't understand this, and she is sending me for a CT scan, and to a nuerologist. Does anyone think this being thorough enough? ... Trish, I could have written the same story! My level at the time was 180, and the nurse said it was ok! I also did some research, and found all my symptoms matched. I was even tested for MS, my symptoms were so bad. I insisted to speak to the Dr. about it, and she started me on shots, and I immediatly felt better. PA runs in my family also. I'll post here what I posted in another thread: During my last round of visits with my GYN late last year, she detected that I had 3 polyps, which turns out played a role in my heavy bleeding, my really bad PMS, cramps, etc. Since they were removed, the bleeding was really heavy for about two cycles then...
