Possible anemia?
Sep 4, 2009

... I must admit I though this same question for many years. I've had 6 kids and over the years I have been handed my prescription for my prenatal and iron-they have always said your anemic. I thought you just take the vitamins and your better-right? Not true for everyone. I went in last year with many symptoms. My doctor did an iron test and it came back low in iron. I have been... ... I already knew that iron, zinc and copper work in unison and excess of any one of these will automatically deplete stores in the other 2. This is why I take a prenatal until I get doctors to test for more things which they all want the other one to do OR I have to come up with the idea on my own. ... (17 replies)

... Does it have the right balance? Did you take it in addition to your iron? Or did you use it for your iron as well? If you don't mind my asking, how much iron was in it? This might be worth a try, actually. I was on them when I was pregnant, but I have just used multimineral supplements since, and they didn't have enough iron.
