... I think as long as your ferritin is in the normal range (and low normal at that) it is safe to continue the supplements. It could be that other people's serum iron was not high because that stopped their supplements for just a few days. Or maybe it depends on the time of day they had their blood drawn in relation to when they took the supplement. (5 replies)

... Although black strap molasses is high in iron, I am not sure that it is enough alone to bring your levels up to where they need to be. It is always a good idea to add iron rich foods, but it's hard using diet alone as a way of raising levels. ... (2 replies)
