... Hi, What is the range for B-12 level? I am in Australia and here the range is 130-855 pmol/L. My result is 371. Is it low? I read posts saying to feel normal it should be around 800. I am bit confused. (16 replies)

... I was told the top of the reference range which is about 700-1100 depending on ranges. I run about 850 without supplement. Anything under 500 should be worked on very hard to build stores of B-12. FLFG (6 replies)
... I cannot tell you that you have PA, you would need a doctor to DX this, usually a GI doc. I can tell you though that you should try to get them to RX injections for you to build your stores. ... and Folic Acid both have to be kept at adequate levels. The range is important not the actual numbers. If they are both out of range low then it needs to be investigated. I assume that you mean that you are experiencing peripheral neuropathy in you legs. ... (1 replies)
