... You do not need to fast for the IV iron treatment. Take a good book to ready, you will be there the first time approx 4 hrs. ... or addressed. I've had several cycles of IV iron but actually became less and less tolerant until finally developing a serious allergy to it. There were warning signs but neither I nor the Dr realised how ominous they were. I doubt that is very common. ... (13 replies)
