... Just from what I have read, it seems the optimal ferritin values seem to be higher. I have read that between 50-70 is a good range. I am not sure if anyone else might have more info? Have you tried liquid supplements? Maybe they would be easier on your stomach and etc? Or eating with them? Although I know some pills are less absorbed with food taken with the medication. ... You should start off slowly by taking a small dosage and then up the dosage each week so that your system gets used to it slowly. If it's still making you sick after doing this then perhaps your doctor or chemist could change you to a different brand. ... (10 replies)
