... I'm sorry I cannot comment on the Thyroid + ferritin (not sure what that is even), I can only comment on the anemia. You may want to do a search on a web search page such as Yahoo by typing in "throid" + "ferritin" to see if you get any links with suggestions. As far as the iron. Most people with anemia are recommended to take ferrous sulfate although there are other kinds.... (10 replies)

... Yes, you are right, either too much CAN make you Hyper--OR people that are sensitive OR just not able to tolerate a T-3 med well can experience Hyper symptoms. Too much at one time (through quick release) into the system can cause you become hyper the same as getting too much, as you say. ... You know, it smells a LOT worse than it tastes -- the Armour has some sort of sugary sweet-tasting coating on it, actually. I have only heard of those as symptoms of too much thyroid med, pushing you up into hyper instead of hypo -- I have never heard of those being symptoms of taking sublingually per se, so I'd check with your doc on those issues. Ferritin questions

... I know it has been awhile since this was posted but very helpful. My ferritin level is less than one (My md said it was undetectable) but my cbc was normal. I feel terrible. I see an endocrinologist tomorrow and a hemotologist Friday. My tsh was normal but didn't do any free testing. A random blood sample cortisol level was low. Hoping I find out some answers soon. ...
