... t write ferritin on your lab requisition. Sometimes the lab techs miss the added things, if they are not checked in a box they can miss it altogether. ... I agree. Don't just take what this doctor is telling you. Your ferritin is very low still and your iron level is not great either. If those do not rise then soon enough you will be low on hemoglobin again. ... (7 replies)
