... Definately sounds like hemochromatosis, make sure it gets checked out! Ferritin levels can reach 1000+ (or even more) ug/L so it's probably not a typo. Treatment for hemochromatosis is pretty simple: bloodletting (aka phlebotomy). (6 replies)
