You're very mature to admit at such a young age you have an anger problem. It took me getting into my 40's to admit it.

If you really start working on this now, through therapy, or whatever works for you as far as medication, then you are that much more ahead of the game. Illegal drugs are a downhill battle, I have had a drug problem for years to try and cope, it's been a vicious circle that doesn't work.

In order for me personally to control my anger, I try to not hang out for long lengths of time with people that tend to annoy me. Perhaps if you limit your time in hanging out with your family this can help you be on better behavior when you're around them. Meanwhile of course I would try to find an understanding therapist, they are difficult to find.

Try to keep a journal of times when you feel anger coming on. Maybe you'll see later in looking back what issues were happening that caused the anger. Try to get into some sort of hobby, whatever that could be, to stimulate yourself in a constructive way. This has helped me tremendously. :bouncing:
